Scientific health institutions of Moscow Healthcare Department: total number of thematic clusters

The Scientific Activity Monitoring Department analyzed the quantitative distribution of the total number of thematic clusters among 15 organizations (4 scientific and research institutes (SRIs) and 11 scientific and practical centers (NPCs)) subordinate to Moscow Healthcare Department in a three-year period from 2019 to 2021. The results are presented with the figure.

The leading position in the total number of thematic clusters is held by the N.V. Sklifosovsky Research Institute for Emergency Medicine (146 topic clusters) among all the 15 organizations, and among scientific and research institutes as well. The Research Institute NIIOZMM is ranked second (113 topic clusters), and Loginov Moscow Clinical Research Center (105 topic clusters) is placed third. At the same time, the Loginov Center is the leader in the “Scientific and Practical Centers” category. Thus, the top three comprises two organizations from the “Research Institutes” category and one from the “Scientific and Practical Centers“ category. More than 100 topic clusters are related to the above-mentioned top organizations, and 9 organizations have 10-40 topic clusters: Moscow Scientific and Practical Center of Dermatovenereology and Cosmetology is ranked first in the “Scientific and Practical Centers“ category with 37 clusters; three organizations have less than 10 topic clusters (Scientific and Practical Center of Pediatric Psychoneurology – 9, Moscow Scientific and Practical Center for Tuberculosis Control – 8, Moscow Territorial Scientific and Practical Center of Disaster Medicine (Scientific and Practical Center for Emergency Medical Care) – 6). It should be noted that two organizations (Scientific and Practical Psychoneurological Center named after Z.P. Solovyov and Moscow Centre for Research and Practice in Medical Rehabilitation, Restorative and Sports Medicine) included in the “Scientific and Practical Centers” category have the same number of thematic clusters (34 each).
